MICHAEL MACLENNAN
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
has been a professional performer for 25 years. He is an award winning director/ choreographer whose productions include Rent, Joseph, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, South Pacific, and The Wizard of Oz. As an actor, he has played such roles as Guido in Nine, Cornelius Hackl in Hello Dolly and Will Parker in Oklahoma. For two seasons he was a member of The Stratford Festival acting company. Film and television projects include Mulroney: The Opera, Wingin It, and, Due South.

TOMMY SMITH
LIGHTING DESIGNER
is production and lighting designer for Opera Luminata’s 2014 touring season! As a designer, carpenter or technical director, Tommy has been involved in more than 50 productions over the last 5 years. Having recently graduated from Mount Allison University’s BMUS voice program Tommy has spent countless hours both on and off stage and, for Opera Luminata, is able to combine both his passions for opera and technical theatre.

SHOSHANA FRIEDMAN
MUSICAL DIRECTOR
is also lead soprano in the show. Along side performing, Shoshana is a highly accomplished and sought after teacher of voice and piano who obtained her BA from York University and her ARCT in Piano Performance. She has musically directed many productions including Wizard of Oz, High School Musical, Grease, Aladdin, Hairspray and Guys and Dolls. She is co-founder and musical director of Broadway North Youth Theatre, a musical theatre program in York Region geared specifically to children.

RAY BRAZEAU
PRODUCER
is president of StarLite Pyrotechnics Ltd, an international fireworks and pyrotechnics special effects company. He has worked with legendary performers including the Rolling Stones, Sir Paul McCartney, AC/DC, Shakira, KISS, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and a host of others. He has travelled all over the world representing Canada at international fireworks competitions. He is very proud of the amazing talent on stage and behind the scenes that have come together to create this entertainment extravaganza.

GLENN HALL
MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS
has worked in marketing and the entertainment industry for over 30 years. In addition to consulting on the Opera Luminata project he is the North American Operations Manager of the global entertainment software company Casting Workbook Services and lectures regularly at colleges and universities across Canada. His extracurricular activities include being the chair of the professional advisory committee of the acting for film and television program at Niagara College and he is the Director of Internet and Social media for the Toronto Welsh Male Voice Choir. His experience in promotions, advertising and media came while serving as the Canadian Travel Advertising Representative for numerous magazines and dailies including The New Yorker Magazine, Vanity Fair, Washington Post, and New York Daily News. While living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (1980-1983) Glenn had the opportunity to travel extensively in the Middle East, Far East and Europe while sharpening his education and training skills working as a permanent substitute teaching at the Saudi Arabian International School.

TODD FAUBERT
SENIOR PYROTECHNICIAN
has over 25 years in the entertainment business with a background in special FX, electronics, lighting and choreographed pyrotechnic displays. He has provided technical support to large scale displays in Hong Kong and the Montreal Fireworks Competition as well as prop construction and flame effects for Six Flag parks and Paramount Canada's Wonderland. Todd is the Technical Director and Designer for StarLite Pyrotechnics where he has designed international award winning shows and wowed audiences across Canada with displays from rooftops, barges and indoor shows.
